December 2015 Newsletter Meeting Thursday 17th. December Scrappy Quilt challenge What a fun meeting we had! Thank you everyone for joining in last month and making blocks for our scrappy quilts. We have made 4 quilts of varying sizes to donate to Project Linus, we think that is a great success and, from the comments we had, it was enjoyable as well. When you arrive please put your secret Santa ( a small (no bigger than 6”) wrapped, empty gift container) into Santa’s bag, they will be given out later in the afternoon. We will open our secret Santas for everyone to see the amazing ideas members have – it doesn’t have to be The raffle – everyone will be given a free raffle ticket during the meeting. Any contributions for the raffle will be welcome and can be put on the raffle table when you arrive. We will draw the raffle in the afternoon and there will be as many winners as there are raffle prizes. There will be raffle tickets for sale (£1 each) for a handmade single bed quilt – proceeds for a local Girl Guiding group. You can see the quilt at the meeting and you are sure to be impressed.
