 Newsletter Meeting Thursday 15th. January

We hope 2015 will be happy, healthy and peaceful for everyone.

As always our Christmas meeting got us all in the festive spirit. Thanks to your generosity we

had tables groaning with party food and drink and a raffle for everyone to win a prize. The secret

Santas were amazing, so many different ideas/hearts, we all went home happy people ready for

Christmas!

If you couldn’t join us, or even if you did, there are lovely photos on the website of the amazing

Show and Tell, do have a look.

Now you will all be ready for the New Year and The Show........................ - there’s a

countdown on the website.

There are many quilts nearing completion and inspiring us to finish our own. We will be

demonstrating how to layer up a quilt ready for quilting. If you would like some help with any

aspect of your quilt please ask, there is lots of expertise available.

Remember that there is a folder with the instructions and samples for all the garden blocks if you

need a reminder or inspiration.

Bring your blocks/quilts along to Show and Tell, it is so exciting to see the quilts coming

together. Look on the website to see what we have produced so far. You don’t have to do all the

blocks or make a large quilt, just do what you want to do – variety is the spice of life!

The Show –Thursday 21st. May 2015

We will be sending out registration forms for the Show so please start thinking about what you

are going to enter. We would like everyone to enter something, there is so much lovely work

being done in the group, this is our chance to celebrate. More details at the meeting.
