Loddon Quilters November 2010 Newsletter Meeting Thursday 16th. November. A bumper meeting last month – lots of renewing members, new member Sue and lots of badges. Thank you everyone. We had a queue for Show and Tell! So many inspiring items, check out the photos on the website. If you made one how about bringing it this month for a Father Christmas parade? Della will be doing some Xmas decorations this month. Several members have asked about boxes, so there are instructions for the original 7"box plus a variation, a triangular box. Has anyone come up with any other variations? Barbara will give a quick demonstration in the afternoon, at the meeting A reminder that the Christmas party gift for the December meeting will be a placemat – any size, any shape, any pattern, for any time (not necessarily Christmas), handmade or bought. See Pris or Barbara if you want ideas. 3 of our charity quilts have now gone to good homes. If you know of anyone who would like one – any age – please see Pris or Barbara. We have 3 quilts left. Loddon Quilters’ Show - 7th April 2011. A quick look at the membership cards may confuse you about the date of the show, it would have been better if there had been a space between the l of April and 7 but I'm sure you now all know the date Thursday April 7th.Sally has produced forms for everyone to enter details of their exhibits. Remember this is not a judging competition. It is an exhibition of what we have been doing during the last 3 years. Choice of charity 2 charities had the same number of votes so we will try to support both. They were:
